Dear Jenny,

We were thinking of you as you had the funeral for your mother. We know that it is a sad time for you, especially with Chinese New Year celebrations coming up.

Every time we walk past the beautiful glass sculpture with the light shining through it in our living room we think of your mother. It will now serve as a shrine to her memory, and we're sorry we won't ever get to meet her, but we know she was a wonderful person to raise such a special daughter as you.

We hope the Year of the Ram will be good to you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you
